Part 2 Corrections
Feel free to raise additional points in the comments.
- The total number of top ten hits from 2001 - 2010 that are sequels, remakes and adaptations is actually 76, not 74. The two I miscounted were Night at the Museum, which was adapted from a book, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which was adpted from a 1996 TV show. (Thanks Brad and Brett.)
- My wording suggests that "Sorry About Colonialism" is a science-fiction subgenre, when it is actually a subgenre of adventure films. (Thanks Danno.)
Update: It appears that Mr. and Mrs Smith is an original screenplay by Simon Kinberg and it just happens to have a similar premise to the film. Anybody know the definitive answer to this? (Thanks Tony)
